About the Speaker:
Professor Sebastião Velasco e Cruz holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from University of São Paulo and post-graduate degree from Fundation Nationale Des Sciences Politiques. He is currently professor of Political Science at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas and researcher for the Center for the Study of Contemporary Culture (CEDEC). His research and experience focus on the State and Government.
